A Cincinnati restaurant group with six Over-the-Rhine locations says it is setting the record straight following social media rumors about two team members who tested positive for COVID-19.
A Facebook post signed by Thunderdome Restaurant Group owners Joe Lanni, John Lanni and Alex Blust said the group had two team members test positive for the virus, one at The Eagle and one at Bakersfield.
In tweets, the group said one team member was notified of potential exposure at a second place of work. At that time, the team member received a same-day test and result and was notified that they were positive. They notified Thunderdome and went into quarantine.

In the second case, the team member’s partner started experiencing symptoms and as a result this team member notified Thunderdome immediately and was taken off the schedule. That team member sought a COVID-19 test and received a positive result. They notified Thunderdome and quarantined
The post said the workers never worked a shift in the restaurants while exhibiting symptoms and the group took action as soon as they received notification of positive COVID-19 tests.
