After months of rumors and leaks, Sony has finally launched WH-1000XM4 noise-canceling headphones. The new Sony headphones are the successor to 2018-launched WH-1000XM3. As seen in the leaks, the design of these new wireless noise-canceling headphones looks identical to its predecessor. The flagship Sony WH-1000XM4 priced at $350 (€389 in Europe) will undercut the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 by $50. In terms of core functionalities, there should be much difference between these two products. The WH-1000XM4s will be available in Black and Silver color options. As seen on its predecessor, the new Sony WH-1000XM4 also feature two microphones on each earcup and a built-in QN1 HD noise-canceling chip. However, the new algorithm is said to be the main reason behind the improved noise-canceling.
