Michigan voters will head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in the state’s general election. More than 2.9 million people have already voted in the state via absentee ballot, exceeding the 1.2 million who voted early in 2016. Local results: St. Clair and Port Huron elections In 2020, more than 8 million people are registered to vote, including more than 133,000 in St. Clair County. To defeat the state’s voter turnout record of 65% set in 2016, more than 5.2 million of those registered voters must submit a ballot during this election.
