The cast of theater company Repertory Philippines’ staging of “The Sound of Music” in the 1980s came together to commemorate the World Day of the Poor by offering viewers their rendition of “Paraiso.” The four-minute video was posted on the Facebook page of Senator Risa Hontiveros, who, as a young girl, played the character of Louisa Von Trapp. “Muli kaming nagsama-sama, ang 1980 cast ng ‘The Sound of Music’ ng Repertory Philippines, para sa makabuluhang paggunita ng #WorldDayofthePoor2020,” Hontiveros captioned the video.
