The company had earlier given an ultimatum to users that in order to continue using the messaging app users will have to accept the new privacy policy. But that is not happening anymore as the messaging app has announced updates related to the privacy policy. Much ahead of the May 15 deadline, WhatsApp had said that it will not delete the accounts of users even if they don’t accept the privacy policy. But that’s not how simple things are. While WhatsApp might not take away your account, it will limit some functions.
