Amazon has finally released an Amazon Prime Video app for the Mac. MacRumors reports that the Amazon Prime Video app for macOS supports platform mainstays such as AirPlay, Picture-in-Picture, and in-app payments for rentals as well as on-demand content. Videos can also be downloaded for offline viewing, but probably only for a limited time. (Many services require users to periodically go online to verify their subscription status.
