Police say drug deal gone bad in Irvine results in 1 stabbed,1 arrested

An 18-year-old suspected of stabbing a man at a park in Irvine while trying to steal fentanyl from him was arrested, police said Sunday, Feb.6. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, Irvine Police Lt. Bill Bingham said. He had arranged a meeting at Orchard Park,1 Van Buren, to sell fentanyl pills to Irvine resident Eric Quintanilla on Friday, Feb.
