The “Only Murders In The Building” star pulled hard on nostalgic heartstrings during her monologue
There was only nostalgia in the audience during Saturday Night Live this week, as host Selena Gomez closed out her monologue with a childhood favorite for millennials. Harking back to her first on-screen job, Gomez wrapped things up with a sing-along of the “Barney & Friends” theme song. Up to that point, things had been relatively tame. Gomez got the ball rolling by poking fun at her “Only Murders in the Building” co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, saying that she was and is “so honored to work with Steve Martin and Martin Short, especially after I googled them to find out who they were.
