Blinken says he spoke to Russia's top diplomat about arrested American journalist

Wall Street Journal editor-in-chief Emma Tucker told “Face the Nation” on Sunday that the charges against Evan Gershkovich are “entirely bogus.”
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday that he had spoken to his Russian counterpart, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, about the detention of , an American reporter for The Wall Street Journal. 
Gershkovich was arrested last week in Russia on charges of spying for Washington, Russia’s FSB security services claimed Thursday. Wall Street Journal editor-in-chief Emma Tucker told “Face the Nation” on Sunday that the charges against Gershkovich are “entirely bogus,” but she said hearing that Blinken and Lavrov spoke is “hugely reassuring to us.”
“We’re hoping that the government will move swiftly to designate Evan as wrongfully detained,” Tucker said.
