Tom Brady was at the center of Novak Djokovic’s French Open title celebration Sunday, embracing the tennis star as he approached his box — where Brady was sitting alongside Djokovic’s wife, Jelena — following the match.
Djokovic defeated Casper Ruud in straight sets Sunday 7-6 (7-1), 6-3, 7-5 to win his third title at Roland Garros and snap a tie with Rafael Nadal for most men’s Grand Slam titles, claiming his 23rd.
Brady was one of Djokovic’s invited guests, and during his speech on the court following the match, the former NFL quarterback — who retired in February following 20 seasons with the Patriots and three with the Buccaneers — was recognized again.
