More than a year after ‘Euphoria’ co-stars Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike sparked dating rumors, the singer-songwriter confirmed their breakup.

Basically every Euphoria fan roots for Rue and Jules, more affectionately known as Rules, to end up together for good. But fans began to speculate that Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules on the show, was dating a different Euphoria castmate in early 2022. (Don’t feel bad for Zendaya, she’s with Tom Holland.) More than a year later, though, it seems Schafer is single again.
Schafer sparked dating rumors with singer Dominic Fike, who joined the show for Season 2, after they were spotted holding hands leaving the Nice Guy restaurant in West Hollywood on Jan. 16, 2022. Initially, neither Schafer nor Fike outwardly confirmed the rumors, but Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi posted anonymous tips claiming people had spotted Schafer and Fike, then 23 and 26, together on multiple occasions. One fan said they saw Schafer chilling backstage at one of Fike’s concerts, and another tipster claimed they were “kissing and dancing” while out at the Nice Guy (again) with Euphoria co-stars Jacob Elordi and Alexa Demie. Soon, there was not only photographic evidence of them hanging out together, but they were clearly getting romantic.
Fike took to his Instagram story on Feb. 10 to share a snap of himself and Schafer sharing a passionate kiss at a restaurant, seemingly confirming their relationship. “Happy birthday happy birthday,” he captioned the photo, though both his and Schafer’s birthdays are in December.
