Former President Donald Trump is facing charges of conspiracy, civil rights violations and obstruction as the target of a Justice Department investigation into his actions on Jan. 6, 2021, according to reports.

A spokesman for Smith’s office declined to comment.
Todd Blanche, Trump’s lead attorney in the case, did not respond to a request for comment.
