The LetMeSpy spyware app has halted its operations after a data breach wiped out its servers, according to a notice on its website. The app, which enabled users to track messages, call records and real-time location data, was inaccessible for download at the time of reporting, while all installed versions appeared dead to network traffic analysis. Hackers gained unauthorised access to email addresses, telephone numbers and messages from users’ accounts. The breach was first notified by the Polan.
A severe hacking attack has led to crippled the operations of a prominent Android app. Just that the Android app here happens to be a spyware app and one whose business model many didn’t really agree with. The app is: LetMeSpy.
