A tragic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada. Two pilots – Nick Macy and Chris Rushing – were killed when their planes collided while landing. Both pilots were expertly skilled and were Gold winners in the T-6 class. One of the planes was a single-engine North American T-6 G, and the other a single-engine North American AT-6B.
