Investors who are worried about Huawei’s market re-entry have been re-assured by Apple that iPhone demand in China remains strong
Apple posted in its latest earnings call that iPhone revenue for the Q4 2023 financial period reached $43.8 billion, up from $42.6 billion in the same quarter a year ago, revealing that the launch of the newest lineup contributed to that growth. In an interview with Reuters, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the company set a quarter record for the iPhone in September. Though the Chief Executive did not specify which models were the most popular, Cook mentioned that four of the top five best-selling smartphones in urban China were the iPhone.
