Punk rock band Green Day in a Sunday performance switched up the lyrics of its hit song “American Idiot” to trash former President Donald Trump.
It didn’t take long for Elon Musk to voice his displeasure that the band, by his estimation, had changed for the worse.
As his band performed a set at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong altered the line “I’m not a part of a redneck agenda” to instead sing “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda.
