Conway suggested that Donald and Melania Trump utilize early voting when they cast their own ballots in the upcoming election.
Kellyanne Conway, a former aide to Donald Trump, had some advice for the former president while appearing on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday.
Trump is the presumed Republican presidential nominee, which means November will likely be an election rematch between him and President Joe Biden, the Democratic incumbent.
Conway suggested that Trump utilize early voting when he casts his own ballot in his new home state of Florida. Early voting is a process by which people can vote before Election Day either by mail-in ballot or in person. Early voting regulations depend on the individual state.
“I hope President Trump and Mrs. Trump will go and vote early in Florida, the first day they’re eligible to vote early because when the lion roars, the others will follow,” Conway told comedian and show host Bill Maher. “His voters will say, ‘oh, well, now President Trump voted early, I can too.
