Pat Sajak sent out one final tweet as his 43-year tenure on ‘Wheel of Fortune’ came to a close.
After more than 40 years as the iconic host of Wheel of Fortune, Pat Sajak signed off the beloved game show for the final time on Friday, June 7.
Sajak — who has helmed the Wheel since 1981 — posted one final message to his followers on Friday, the day his last episode aired.
“Thank you all so very much,” the veteran game show host, 74, wrote via X (formerly known as Twitter).
Commenters came out in droves, thanking Sajak with heartfelt praise and emulating his dry sense of humor.
“Before you go Pat @patsajak I would like to buy a vowel please… D_n’t G_ ,” one person tweeted.
