Piolo Pascual, Julia Montes, and Charlie Dizon brought home the top acting plums at the seventh edition of the annual Entertainment Editors’ Choice (Eddy) Awards on Sunday, July 7 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport World Resorts in Pasay City.
Led by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd), “About Us But Not About Us” won the Best Picture award. At the same time, the Pascual-led “Mallari” bagged the majority of the awards.

Best Actor: Piolo Pascual for “Mallari”
Best Actress: Julia Montes for “Five Break-Ups and a Romance” and Charlie Dizon for “Third World Romance”
Best Supporting Actor: Enchong Dee for “GomBurZa”
Best Supporting Actress: Gladys Reyes for “Apag”
Best Director: Jun Robles Lana for “About Us But Not About Us”
Best Screenplay: Jun Robles Lana for “About Us But Not About Us”
Best Production Design: Mariel Hizon for “Mallari”
Best Cinematography: Juan Lorenzo Orendain for “Mallari”
