Sonic X Shadow Generations is looking to be more than a mere remake, giving players brand-new powers to bring to bear against fan-favorite villains from the franchise.
Released in 2011, Sonic Generations has been very well received among the franchise’s fan base for its expert combination of the classic and modern Sonic formulas in both its storytelling and gameplay. Shadow Generations will reimagine the title in a new light, placing players in the shoes of the ultimate lifeform, Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow Generations will take players on a joyride through the series, even the less favorable parts of the Sonic franchise, recreating iconic moments from past games for a modern audience. With Shadow’s story taking center stage this time around, Shadow Generations acts as part sequel, part spin-off to the original game that aims to give fans more of what they loved.
