Kendrick Lamar will headline the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, set to take place Feb. 9, 2025 in New Orleans.
Kendrick Lamar has been named the headliner for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show.
The news was announced Sunday by the NFL, Roc Nation and Apple Music.
Lamar, 37, confirmed the announcement on Instagram, as well.
“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one,” the rapper said in a statement, according to Billboard.
The 2025 Super Bowl will take place Feb. 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. It will air on Fox.
The halftime show is sponsored by Apple Music and produced by JAY-Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation.
“Kendrick Lamar is truly a once-in-a-generation artist and performer,” JAY-Z, 54.
