Several motherboard makers have revealed their X870 and X870E motherboards recently and as we know from their specifications, they got a noticeable upgrade in connectivity over X670 and X670E motherboards. There is still some difference from board to board based on their vendors, which MSI has taken as a marketing strategy.
The X870 and X870E motherboards feature WiFi 7 for wireless connectivity, which has an increased bandwidth and bigger data rate compared to WiFi 6/6E on the X670 and X670E motherboards.
