The following rogue skills in Dragon Age: The Veilguard inflict a tremendous amount of damage.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard changed combat for the franchise, with it becoming far more action-based. This also meant the skills and abilities available to the three classes in Dragon Age were also changed to better suit its combat. Rogue is one of the three classes that has always been available to players, with the agile class having both physical and elemental skills available for it.
Players who are looking for the best Rogue skills that do the highest amount of damage should look no further than these options for creating a lethal Rook that is sure to be able to hold their own when taking on the Blighted gods Elgar’nan and Ghilan’nain.10 Storm’s Path
Type: Area, Projectile
Cost: One circle of Adrenaline
Veil Ranger is an entirely new specialization for Rogues that was introduced in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. This specialization focuses heavily on the bow, and, therefore, many of the abilities available to the player also involve using the bow.
Storm’s Path shoots electricity into an area that electrocutes all foes that are hit by it in a blast. Not only does this do a decent amount of damage from afar, but Storm’s Path can also be used to detonate Overwhelm, which also deals damage in an area as it causes the foe it hits to explode.9 Lightning Quiver
Type: Projectile, Control
Cost: One circle of Adrenaline
On the way to the Veil Ranger specialization, there are other electric-themed abilities for the player to invest their points in. Lightning Quiver is another brilliant Projectile option for players who are looking for skills that do the highest amount of damage, not only due to the amount of damage it does but also due to it firing seven arrows randomly at foes.
Although the randomness may be an issue for some players, being able to fire into a group of enemies from afar and being sure that a good majority of them will be hit means players can damage multiple foes with one ability.8 Lightning Flask
Type: Duration, Control
Cost: One circle of Adrenaline
Continuing to explore the Rogue abilities that deal electricity damage, the Lightning Flask is another worthwhile option for players to make the most of, and a familiar ability that players may remember from Dragon Age: Inquisition.
While similar to the Flask of Lightning in name, players that throw down this glass bottle of elemental damage will surround themselves with electricity that not only explodes to unleash a storm but also applies Shocked on the player’s opponents.
