The Indiana Hoosiers, No. 5 in last week’s rankings, played just their second AP top-five matchup in school history, against the Ohio State Buckeyes, No. 2 in the rankings. The Buckeyes thoroughly handled the Hoosiers, limiting them to just 151 total yards. A win next week against the Michigan Wolverines, will put Ohio State in the Big Ten title game for a rematch with the No. 1 Oregon Ducks.
In the Big 12, the BYU Cougars and Colorado Buffaloes could clinch spots with wins and a bit of help. Neither held up their end of the deal.
