It’s easy enough to build your own Amazon Echo with a Raspberry Pi , but if you really want to step things up, Tinkernut shows you how to hook one of those devices up to a Teddy Ruxpin.
The project here uses a Raspberry Pi to power the Alexa service, then uses an Arduino to control the bear’s servos. All things considered, it’s actually pretty straightforward to hack this thing together, though you will need to do some dismantling of the Ruxpin itself.
