Google Pixel 2 buzzing noise to soon be fixed via OTA update

Google ’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have faced a lot of issues since their launch in October. While Google has recently rolled out updates, there seems to be no end to the issue of the buzzing noise. Until now that is. Google has now announced that a software update will be rolled out soon fixing this particular issue.
Orrin, Community Manager at Pixel User Community has stated that Google is rolling out a fix in the “coming weeks,” which will fix the long-pending buzzing sound. ”We’re rolling out a software update in the coming weeks which eliminates a faint buzzing sound on some Pixel 2 devices when the phone is placed to your ear during a phone call.” RELATED: Google Pixel 2 bug won’t let Google Assistant work with Bluetooth headphones: Report
It is worth noting that the buzzing noise is different from the “clicking” noise that some users reported on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in the past. The ‘clicking’ sound has been fixed by an update recently.
Google is yet to find a fix for touch unresponsiveness on the Pixel 2 XL smartphone. Users have been complaining about a lack of response when users would tap on the edges. Apart from that, some users have also been facing flashing screens issue on Pixel 2 XL. In the previous update, users saw changes to other display aspects like reducing the maximum screen brightness, and changing the behavior of the navigation bar. Both these changes were previously seen in the Android 8.1 Developer Preview, and now Google has included it in the stable builds. The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are available in India with prices starting from Rs 61,000 and Rs 73,000 respectively.
It’s not just Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL that have been facing the issue. Even Apple’s iPhone X users have been facing unresponsive displays in cold weather. Apple acknowledged the issue, and has released an update that fixes the issue. This fix is a part of the new iOS 11.1.2 update.
