It wasn’t the prettiest but it was the most popular.
Amazon’s star-studded commercial, dubbed “Alexa Loses Her Voice,” garnered more views on YouTube on Super Bowl Sunday than any other spot during the big game, data from the video streamer on Monday revealed.
The spot starred Amazon chief executive Jeff Bezos, Cardi B, Anthony Hopkins, Rebel Wilson and Gordon Ramsay.
YouTube did not release stats on how many views the most popular ads got.
A Groupon ad featuring Tiffany Haddish came in No. 2 and a spot from Pepsi finished No. 3.
Bud Light’s “The Bud Knight” got the fourth-most views.
Overall, YouTube said, viewership of Super Bowl ads saw a 16 percent increase over last year.
Entertainment buffs flocked to YouTube to watch trailers from Amazon Prime’s CIA thriller, “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan,” which nabbed No. 5; Lucasfilm’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story” (No. 6); HBO’s “Westworld” season 2 trailer (No. 7); and Universal Pictures’ “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” (No. 8).
Marvel Studios’ “Avengers, Infinity War” and Budweiser’s “I Stand By You” Super Bowl ad on the company’s disaster aid work supplying water to communities in need, rounded out the Top 10.
