His bail is set at $25,000.
ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A Pagedale man has been charged with assaulting his girlfriend and killing her dog.
19-year-old Christopher Brown was charged Sunday in St. Louis County with felony counts of second-degree assault and animal abuse along with a misdemeanor for second-degree property damage.
According to court documents, on Feb. 3, a woman who had been in a relationship with Brown reported she was physically assaulted and choked by him. She fled the house to find help and once officers responded to the home, they found the home in complete disarray. Officers found the victim’s dog, hanging from a metal pole in the garage.
His bail is set at $25,000.
