Disney has released the second action-packed trailer for the long-awaited Pixar animated comedy “Incredibles 2.”
During Wednesday night’s PyeongChang Olympics coverage on NBC, Disney debuted a new trailer for the long-awaited Incredibles sequel. After all, Olympic athletes are basically superheroes — it makes sense!
In addition to this hilariously joyous new footage (featuring absolutely no capes, as per Edna Mode’s mandate), there’s also a new poster with the tagline “Don’t mix your delicates with your indestructibles.”
Earlier in the week, Disney dropped a 10-second, Olympic-themed teaser, featuring baby Jack-Jack casually lasering a curling stone in half.
Incredibles 2 is set to pick up right where the first movie left off, with the family battling The Underminer following the supers’ triumphant return to the public eye.
Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) will be at the forefront of the sequel’s story, with Mr. Incredible enjoying his new role as a stay-at-home dad looking after the equally super (and super cute) Jack-Jack.
