An apology has been issued by a company owned by the family of President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, for referring to his role as a White House adviser during an investment conference in China, CNN reported.
Kushner Companies insisted the reference was not an “attempt to lure investors.”
Kushner’s sister, Nicole Kushner Meyer, referred to her brother’s role in the Trump administration during a pitch for one of the company’s projects in New Jersey.

The news network said the New Jersey project uses the EB-5 visa program. It noted the program offers immigrants “a path to a green card if they invest more than $500,000 in a project that creates jobs in the U. S.”
But the company said her comments should not to interpreted as an attempt to bring in investors.

Kushner divested from the New Jersey protect and the Kushner Companies, the website said.
