The fire broke out at around 1am on Wednesday morning and quickly took hold of the Grenfell tower in north Kensington.

London Fire Commissioner Dany Cotton and the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan have declared the fire a major incident.
The brigade arrived at the scene within six minutes of the first call, sending 200 firefighters from 40 stations. Many of the residents made it out, but some have claimed the fire alarms did not sound.
Fatalities have been confirmed, but the number is not yet known. Five hospitals are treating more than 50 people.
