The fireworks show followed the RockStock music festival at Heritage Landing.
MUSKEGON, MI – The Muskegon fireworks show lit up the sky in the downtown area Tuesday night to put the finishing touches on the Fourth of July celebrations.
Muskegon residents and visitors gathered near Heritage Landing to take in the aerial show that entertained communities surrounding Muskegon Lake.
The fireworks show followed the conclusion of the Muskegon RockStock music festival, which ran Monday through Tuesday. RockStock featured bands Echoes of Pink Floyd, Crazy Babies and Spike the Media.
Law enforcement maintained a large security zone, while U. S. Coast Guard and Muskegon County Sheriff patrols kept boats on the lake out of harm’s way.
The display was coordinated by Night Magic Fireworks, which has handled the displays in Muskegon for the sixth year.
