Don’t worry about this once-troubled pop star.
Aaron Carter’s reps have confirmed to the Daily News that the “Sooner or Later” singer checked out of rehab after just two weeks. The 29-year-old isn’t giving up on his journey toward wellness, however.
“Aaron has left the facility where he has been working on his wellness. Several legal and personal matters arose that requires his immediate and in-person attention,” representative Steve Honig told The News.
“He is still very much committed to his wellness and will be continually working toward being the best person possible.”
While it’s unclear what matters pushed Carter to leave rehab, recommended to him by “The Doctors” hosts, sources told Us Weekly he was showing great progress in the facility.

“Aaron did really well while he was away in rehab. He wants to continue his road to recovery but he had some urgent financial matters to care of in Florida,” the source said.
“He has gained sufficient weight back and is much healthier. He was really upset that this happened and that he had to leave rehab.”
The source added that Carter is aware that many fans may dismiss his apparent emergency as an excuse, but he’s not going to let it throw him off the straight and narrow.
“Aaron knows that many people may not believe this excuse, but he was really upset he had to leave to handle this situation. He still has plans to continue his recovery,” the source said.
Police rush to Aaron Carter’s home for suicide threats
Carter checked into rehab on Sept. 22 after a series of calls to police related to the musician and a severe car accident.
At the time, his rep told The News he was doing so to work on his health and wellness.
“Aaron has decided to enter a facility to improve his health and work on his overall wellness,” his rep said.
“He is going to do this privately and focus all his attention on being the best person and performer possible. He is grateful for the support and love from his fans and looks forward to coming back stronger than ever before.”
