UCF moves up in latest top 25 polls that feature three AAC teams

UCF moved in the latest top 25 college football polls that feature three teams from the American Athletic Conference.
UCF is ranked No. 22 in the latest Associated Press top 25 poll after the Knights rain-shortened 51-23 win over Cincinnati Saturday night.
The Knights, who are 4-0 for the first time since 1982, also are ranked No. 21 in the Amway coaches’ poll. UCF owns the nation’s top scoring offense, averaging 47.5 points per game, and scored on eight consecutive drives against the Bearcats Saturday.
Miami moved up to No. 11 in the AP poll after its win 24-20 win over rival Florida State and Florida, previously No. 21, dropped out of the poll after falling 17-16 to LSU.
The Hurricanes No. 10 in the coaches’ poll.
The American Athletic Conference has three teams in the top 25, with USF retaining the No. 18 spot after a bye week and Navy checking in at No. 25.
The coaches’ poll also features three AAC teams, with USF No. 15 and Navy No. 24.
All three of the ranked AAC teams are schedule to face off this season, with UCF playing at Navy Oct. 21 and hosting USF Nov. 24.
