Capitol Police said Tuesday that they arrested 36 people protesting outside a Senate Budget Committee hearing on the GOP tax bill.
Police arrested all 36 on charges of disrupting Congress in their protest of the tax bill, which the committee advanced for a full vote on the Senate floor. Two of the demonstrators were charged with resisting arrest.
