The ruling Korean Workers’ Party newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, carried a commentary on Sunday, the first day of Trump’s Asian tour. It said Trump will visit Seoul at a time when the US military is deploying its strategic arsenal in South Korea and the surrounding region. It criticized Trump for trying to control the North by force. It said no-one knows when or how “the rogue” will carry out reckless acts and that restraining Trump with physical power is the only way to prevent this.
