The Xenoblade Chronicles 2 season pass has been revealed by Nintendo, and it will allow you easier access to all of the game’s upcoming DLC.
Earlier today, Nintendo held its Nintendo Direct focused around Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the long-awaited sequel to the game that originally came out in 2010 for the original Wii console. Now, Nintendo has announced the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 season pass, which will help you to be able to more easily obtain all of the game’s DLC.
The season pass, which will cost 30 dollars, will allow players free access to all of the various DLC packs that are coming out in the future. These include various items that will help you on your journey, an expanded main quest line, a new weapon, a new challenge battle mode, and a brand-new story and adventure.
All of the DLC mentioned in the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 season pass will be coming out in various intervals throughout the rest of this year and a significant portion of the next, with the new adventure DLC coming in Autumn of 2018. What exactly this new adventure will be remains a mystery along with the rest of the DLC coming to the game, but hopefully it will still be good.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has been much anticipated ever since it was originally revealed at the Nintendo Switch’s official press event back in January. However, there hadn’t been any real information on it, aside from what platforms it would be on (exclusive to the Switch). While we’d seen a few trailers, the game hadn’t gotten a release date for us to look forward to.
In addition to everything we’ll be getting in the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 season pass, players of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be getting a special outfit for Link on November 9. The outfit is Rex’s, the protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is expected to launch on December 1, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. You can watch the Direct here if you missed it, and learn everything you need to know about the game.
