The president’s Twitter account retweeted three inflammatory videos from a British far-right group early Wednesday morning.
The unverified videos — which were originally posted by Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of the far-right ultranationalist “Britain First’ group — purport to show violence carried out by Muslims and Muslim migrants:
Fransen was found guilty of religiously aggravated harassment in November of 2016 after verbally abusing a Muslim woman in Bedfordshire, England.
According to the BBC, “Britain First” is a far-right group that rails against Islam in the U.
