Sam Rockwell made his debut hosting Saturday Night Live this week, but that wasn’t the only reason he made headlines. The Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri actor accidentally used profanity in a PBS parody skit about a science teacher who struggles to keep calm when his two students, Josh (Mike Day) and Loni (Cecily Strong), fail to understand the lesson.
“I just poured the oil into the water. The oil is?” Rockwell as Mr. Science asks. “False!” Josh replies. “This isn’t a true or false [question], Josh. You can’t be this f**king stupid,” Rockwell retorts, immediately catching his slip up. “I’m sorry. Kids aren’t stupid.” Luckily, the F-bomb was bleeped out in the nick of time.
