Want to see Oscar-nominated movies? The Farmington Community Library has just the answer with its annual Oscar Shorts event at the Civic Theater.
Movie-goers who like to see as many Oscar-nominated films as possible get their chance Sunday.
That’s when the Farmington Community Library, in conjunction with the Farmington Civic Theater, Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home and an anonymous donor who is an Oscar enthusiast, presents its annual Oscar Shorts event at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Civic Theater.
The event, a fundraiser for the Farmington Friends of the Library, will feature the animated and live-action Oscar-nominated short films.

A pre-party event with hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the downtown Farmington branch library (23500 Liberty Street).
Tickets to the Oscar Shorts, which include the pre-party, are available at both library branches. Tickets are $25, cash or check made out to the Farmington Friends of the Library.
