Huawei is expected to announce its P20 line on March 27. Ahead of the event, the firm has deployed a fleet of advertising trucks which have been parked in front of Apple and Samsung stores in the UK.
Although Huawei has had aspirations to penetrate the U. S. market for years, over the past few months, things have become quite bleak for the firm. Despite reports that Best Buy will be dropping Huawei products from its shops, the firm is now gearing up for the launch of its upcoming handsets.
While there is still a week or so before the launch of its P20 line, it appears that Huawei is hitting the streets in the United Kingdom in order to drum up some anticipation for its event scheduled for March 27. As you can see from the image above, the firm is rolling out trucks with advertisements on them but also reportedly parking them conveniently close to the front of Apple and Samsung outlets. In addition, the vehicular-based marketing has been accompanied by advertising on the pavements outside these stores.
If leaks are to be believed, not much of the upcoming line remains a secret. The P20 has been rumored since early last year and over the past few months, there have been several pieces of information and images that have shown off the different variants in the line. The P20 Pro, P20, and P20 Lite are expected to make their debuts on March 27.
