Users can download the latest version from the App Store
Released last year in November, Microsoft Edge for iOS has been updated today to version 41.13, a release that adds initial support for Apple’s iPad tablets so you can enjoy a more generous browsing experience thanks to the scaled-up user interface.
On top of that, Microsoft’s engineers also improve the user sign in and sign out experience, and fixes various bugs to boost the performance of the Edge web browser for Apple’s iOS-powered devices. Support for Android tablets has been added as well.
You can download Microsoft’s Edge web browser for iPhone and iPad devices right now from the App Store, as well as for Android tablets from the Google Play store. Edge requires a device running Apple’s iOS 9.0 or later or Google’s Android 4.4 and up operating systems.
Microsoft designed the Edge browser for Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android operating system mainly to provide Windows 10 users with a consistent and continuous browsing experience across all of their devices, where the data is seamlessly synced in the background.
The app offers features like “Continue on PC” so you can pick up and continue your browsing session from where you left off virtually anywhere if you’re running at least Windows 10 Fall Creator’s Update, and built-in QR code reader to easily scan QR codes.
You can also search the Web using voice commands, sync your bookmarks, reading list, and passwords across all your devices, or browse anonymously using the InPrivate mode that doesn’t store your browsing history, cookies, or other temporary Internet files.
