Looking to change broadband service to find the best internet provider or simply want to know how your broadband compares to others? You’re in the right place to find out, as we bring you the best broadband deals available in the UK right now and help you decide which is best for you.
Before we start, it’s important to check that the broadband provider you’re interested in can cover your area. You might be surprised to find that a provider that a friend who lives just a few miles away is with might not be able to provide broadband for your home.

Also with the Rural Development Programme for England investing £30 million in rural broadband development, things are looking up for those previously underserved when it comes to Internet speeds. For now, here are the best deals going regardless of area.
Virgin’s fibre-optic broadband is very fast and reliable, available for £29 per month for 12 months. This deal includes line rental, and is actually cheaper than the option without broadband at time of writing. There’s also a £20 activation fee to watch out for though.
It’s by no means the cheapest option, but the 50Mbps internet speed is faster than most options offered by rival providers. It has won plenty of broadband awards for overall satisfaction, reliability and speed, so is highly recommended.

50Mbps is brilliant for most single users or couples, but if you share your home with a bigger family who tend to use the internet at once, you might want to consider opting for 100Mbps or even 200Mbps. Virgin offers the former for £34 per month with line rental. There’s the same £20 activation fee.

If there’s an online gamer or four in your household, upgrading to 200Mbps is going to give you brilliantly fast internet with absolutely no lag. It’ll cost you £39 per month with line rental included. The £20 activation fee applies here too.
