A woman was struck by a car after posing for a photograph with Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer during a Tribeca Film Festival event, according to authorities and a photograph from the event.
Police received several 911 calls after the woman, who is in her 20s, was hit by a grey SUV Saturday around 8:15 p.m., while she was walking in the road in front of the SVA Theater on West 23rd Street near Eighth Avenue.
Photographs show the woman had just met actress Natalie Dormer, who was scheduled to appear in a panel at the theater at 8 p.m. after the screening of her new miniseries, Picnic at Hanging Rock. Dormer previously starred as Margaery Tyrell on HBO’s Game of Thrones.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. The driver remained at the scene and has not been charged.
The panel also featured miniseries director Larysa Kondracki and executive producer Jo Porter, and was moderated by Kathryn VanArendonk.
