In March, Huawei sub-brand Honor launched its 7C smartphone in China. It seems like the company is now planning to bring the smartphone to India as 91mobiles has now spotted the product manual of the handset on the company’s official website. It will be interesting to see when the company will introduce the Honor 7C to the Indian market as it is already preparing to launch the Honor 10 in the country on May 15th.
Interestingly, while the company has not shared any official information about the launch of the Honor 7C in India, the support page for the handset has already been updated with the user manual as well. As you can see in the image below, in the product manual section, on searching Honor 7C, the suggestions show “Honor 7C Quick Start Guide (LND-AL30,01, English, India)” alongside the other user manual suggestions.
Considering that the company has already updated the official website with the user manual, it won’t be a far-fetched assumption that the Huawei sub-brand is planning to launch the Honor 7C soon in India. To recall the smartphone’s specifications, the Honor 7C sports a 5.99-inch FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. The handset is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450, which is clocked at 1.8GHz and mated to Adreno 506 GPU. The Honor 7C was launched in China in two configurations – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. For security, the smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In terms of optics, Honor 7C comes with a rear-facing dual camera module, which packs a 13-megapixel sensor along with a 2-megapixel sensor. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone offers an 8-megapixel front camera. Both camera modules on the Honor 7C are accompanied by an LED flash for good low-light imaging. If we talk about software, the Honor 7C runs the proprietary EMUI 8.0 interface based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone houses a 3,000mAh battery and on the connectivity front, the handset offers options including 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio.
The Honor 7C is being offered by the company four colour options – Black, Gold, Red, and Blue colours. As for the pricing, in China, the 3GB RAM variant of the handset sets you back by RMB 899 (~Rs 9,200) and 4GB RAM model costs RMB 1,299 (~Rs 13,300).
