The 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards will air June 18 at 9 p.m. on MTV. The awards show will be hosted by Girls Trip breakout star Tiffany Haddish. The show will once again feature non-gendered categories. Last year, gender-neutral nonbinary performer Asia Kate Dillon from Billions presented the ceremony’s first gender-neutral acting award to Emma Watson .
Black Panther leads with 7 nominations. This is the first time Black Panther is being recognized at an awards show since its release earlier this year. Stranger Things follows close behind with a total of 6 nominations. Emmy Award-winning producer and director Joel Gallen will executive produce and direct the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, returning to the show which he helped create at MTV and produced for 14 years.
