President Trump said he has to start “focusing my energy” on issues facing his administration and not on the Russian “Witch Hunt” after calling for an investigation into Hillary Clinton and claiming the special counsel will “MEDDLE” in this year’s midterm elections.

He was named special counsel in May 2017 by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, a Trump appointee.
