The Honor 9N has also been launched as the successor to the Honor 9i that released in India in October last year. Th Honor 9N is a budget offering from the China-based handset maker and the smartphone is a mixed, upgraded version of some of the best-selling smartphones of the company. Let’s take a look at the top five features of the device.
The Notch FullView is the reference to the display notch. The device comes with a bezel-less display design owing to the notch and sports a 5.84-inch (1080×2280 pixels) full-HD+ FullView IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. The notch houses the frontal imaging unit, notification light, proximity sensor and the earpiece.
The Honor 9N is touted for some amazing camera-centric features. The front camera in the smartphone comes with Portrait Mode, Panorama, AR lens, Moving Picture, Video, Time-Lapse, Filter, and Watermark modes. Additionally, the camera settings also include GPS Tag, High-quality Mode, Smile Capture, Perfect Selfie, and Gesture Control. The Honor 9N comes with 4-in-1 Light Fusion technology that converts 4 small pixels into 1 large 2.0-micron pixel that delivers brighter images in low light conditions. The smartphone also comes with a 3D Face Detection technology.
The Honor 9 comes with a ‘Snap First, focus Later’ feature that lets you focus on different subjects after capturing the image. On the other hand, the Ride mode lets you customize your phone to respond to calls and messages when riding a two-wheeler. The Party mode lets you sync up to seven Honor devices to play music at the same time.
The Honor 9N is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM, according to the variant. For optics, the smartphone comes with dual 13+2-megapixel primary sensors, accompanied by an LED flash to capture images in low-lighting conditions. On the front of the device, there is a powerful 16-megapixel image sensor for selfies and video calls.
