Honor Note 10 launched: Key specs, top features, price and everything you need to know

Huawei subsidiary Honor launched the Honor Note 10 in China on Tuesday. The Honor Note 10 is supposedly Huawei’s answer to Xiaomi’s Mi Max 3, and crams in a massive 6.9-inch screen in a sleek frame with minimum bezels. Huawei is expected to launch the Honor Note 10 for the global market on August 30 at IFA, Berlin.
The USP of the Honor Note 10, as mentioned above, is its massive 6.9-inch bezel-less display and also the phone is high on artificial intelligence. It also packs a massive 5,000mAh battery and comes with dual stereo speakers, entailing in a device that’s clearly intended for multimedia consumption. Here’s a closer look at the Honor Note 10 and everything that it brings to the table.
— Huawei’s in-house Kirin 970 processor, that powers the Honor Note 10, packs in its own dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for enabling dedicated AI functions inside the phone. The Kirin 970 is notably Huawei’s top-tier processor that’s also found in the company’s premier P20 Pro.
— The Honor Note 10 will support GPU Turbo technology. GPU Turbo technology is Huawei’s in-house graphics processing acceleration technology achieved through hardware and software integration resulting in “smoother and faster mobile gaming experience.” Games will apparently play with up to 60 per cent more graphics processing efficiency, while consuming up to 30 per cent less energy thanks to GPU Turbo, claims the company, adding that the technology will allow even standard games to render in HDR.
— The Honor Note 10 with its big screen and big battery is clearly directed towards multimedia enthusiasts.
— The Honor Note 10 also packs in dual stereo speakers with Dolby panoramic audio.
— The Honor Note 10, in addition, comes with a PC-grade liquid cooling system called the Nine liquid cooling technology which helps improving the heat dissipation capacity of the phone by almost 41 per cent over rival phones.
— The Honor Note 10 also supports a Samsung Dex-like dock so you can essentially mirror your phone contents and have a desktop experience on a monitor.
The Honor Note 10 has been launched in three variants, the base model with 4GB + 64GB comes for a price of 2799 yuan (roughly Rs 28,000), the 6GB + 128GB model for 3199 yuan (roughly Rs 32,000), and the top-end version with 8GB + 128GB for 3599 yuan (roughly Rs 36,000). The Honor Note 10 will be available in as many as three colours, Midnight Black, Phantom Blue, and Lilly White. The phone is a China-exclusive for now and will start selling there from August 3.
