After President Donald Trump’s explosive summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, protestors gathered in Lafayette Park outside the White House, and at the call of Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, protestors will reassemble Tuesday for a second night of protests.
“Today was one of the most shameful days in our history,” Avenatti tweeted in reaction to the summit. The lawyer called for civil action, saying, “We need to bring those who attacked us, and Mr. Trump himself, to justice.”
Today was one of the most shameful days in our history. Our president chose a foreign power over our own people, especially those who toil to keep us safe. We need to bring those who attacked us, and Mr. Trump himself, to justice. #Basta #occupylafayettepark

The organizer of the Monday protest, Adam Parkhomenko, announced that Avenatti was flying to Washington, D. C., to join for a second night of protests:
Exciting news: I just got off the phone with @MichaelAvenatti who is cheering on #OccupyLafayettePark and he’s coming to DC for night two: Tuesday at 7 PM. Spread the word and let’s make sure we build on what’s taking place tonight in a big way tomorrow! #basta

To everyone who can, please be there tomorrow night in front of the White House at 7pm. Today’s events mark a critical point in the history of our republic. #Basta #OccupyLafayettePark https://t.co/6w3zhD6vjB
